This is a Beautiful, Unique and Very Rare Antique Wash Stand Set of 6 Pieces.
In the days before running water it was very common to have a Ewer (Pitcher) & Basin in the bedroom on a wash stand or small table, For washing up, brushing teeth, shaving… The more affluent had more elaborate sets. Originally there was a Covered Chamberpot, A larger Covered Waste pot to dump the Chamber pot in and a Covered Soap Dish with drain plate and a Shaving Mug. This Available existing set includes, the large Ewer, large Basin, Smaller water pitcher for brushing teeth/drinking, the cup for that as well and the two smaller vase type vessels for holding toothbrushes etc.

It is crazed, slightly stained in the basin, very small tight hairline non moving crack in large pitcher. Nothing detracts from its display or if you desire to use it as designed.
