"Excursion Steamer Island Queen" etching by Menzo Van Esveldt (1896-1985), created from a photo taken by Russell L. Hunter in the early 20th century. Etching is titled and signed by the artist. The cream colored mat seems to be embossed to create the look of a "double mat". The mat's pale cream "tone on tone" is subtle yet adds interest. Beautifully hand-written title and signature.
