Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Handle and Stainless Steel Vintage Cake Knife, a rare Blok-Acadia Design. 10 1/2” long, 1 3/8” wide at widest part of blade; Sterling Silver handle, a rare ribbed design, is 3 5/8” long, 3/4” wide, 3/8” thick. This 4 rib design handle is sold Sterling Silver, not hollowware. Entire knife weighs 5.5 ounces. Condition is used, with light scratches on the Stainless Steel blade and just micro scratches on the Sterling Silver that are only observable on close inspection. Excellent overall vintage condition. The Sterling Silver handle has hallmarks on both sides, “GEORG JENSEN” and “STERLING DENMARK.” The Stainless Steel blade is marked, “georg jensen denmark stainless.” Comes with original 1950’s Dust Bag, shown in the photos. Collectible, especially for the rare ribbed handle design on this sought after very Mid-century Modern Acadia-Blok pattern. Price is very low and price is firm.
