Beautiful set of vintage California Pottery Artichoke plates. Stunning timeless detailed design.
These plates are glossy white with an embossed leafy and floral design, and the glaze has slight bluish undertones giving it a dimensional look.
Each plate has a diameter of 7.75”W and a depth of 1.25”.
The heyday of California Pottery was from the 1920’s through the 1950’s. There were a number of talented artisans producing colorful and dramatic designs in the Southern California area.
Makers mark on each base: Calif. U.S.A. 352.
These plates are in very good preowned vintage condition with only the usual imperfections that come from used handmade pottery. No crazing. No cracks. Some glaze wear around the center rim on a couple. One small chip on the center rim of one.
Beautiful to use and display.
