I hand-washed this in Biz to get a couple of stains out, and although it is still pretty soft, I think that it might soften up even more if hand-washed in Woolite or something like that. It has some pilling throughout; see photos for details. I got out all of the stains that I could see, and now I don't see any flaws aside from some usual wear.
