The AM Radio will play static and power on. The second hand on the clock did not move while powered on so I do not think the clock works. There is no backlight.
All buttons turn or push and have movement. The time hands will move with the adjustment knobs. There is a permanent stain on the top of the clock in the wood grain design. The cord is still pliable and not brittle, but it is over 50 years old so it is not perfect.
This is a great item for movie props or memorabilia. It also could be restored to a fully functional system.
