The Vapor X3.5 fit is enhanced through a one-piece 3D Poly carbon quarter package and a TPR outsole. The quarter package provides a solid fit in the ankle and heel while the outsole gives the skate more flexibility for ease-of-use; an important feature for the new hockey player who might not yet need a very stiff boot for performance.
Inside the boot, Bauer includes memory foam padding around the ankles for increased support. This material gives you the feel you want and keeps you comfortable as you develop your skills on the ice.
