This is a beautiful set of five (5) Clear Luncheon Plates, made by the Duncan and Miller Glass Co. in the Sandwich pattern. The dishes are adorned with fancy swirls, scroll and flowers. They are gorgeous in light and would be perfect for a Wedding table, a Spring Luncheon and any other Special Occasion you may have.
Each plate measures 8 in diameter, and they are all in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks and no noticeable utensil marks. They look to have been used very little, if at all.
Several companies have made sandwich glass through the years but Duncan and Miller is said to be the best quality. From the NGA (National Glass Association): Duncan & Miller's Early American Sandwich glass is the best made and highest quality glass.
