this bass is an accurate representation of these mid 90’s USA made Tobias Growlers (Serial # 7959) aka…VERSATILE MONSTERS of PLAIN! lol ok, I’ll admit I‘m the only person in the history of their existence to say that, THAT WAY!! But come on, to be so all over the board.. I mean.. you can play rock, metal, pop, reggae, funk, blues, hip hop, jazz & fusion.. tejano or cumbia, NEED I GO ON?
Condition & cosmetics are still overall very good-normal signs of use and play; gigs, tracking, practices, but besides some rash on the back and a nic by the Bartolini it’s still SMOKE’N!! The E string Grover tuner has been changed with a gotoh drop D tuner..all else original.
count on it needing a good set up & tweak of the rod to get it dialed into your liking. if you can take care of that at the crib, awesome and good on you.. if you need to take to somebody please factor that in.
