A Photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) Red Line United States Flag - on Hickory.
The flag measures 10"x18.5"x3/4", is delicately hand-made, and produces an optical illusion.
Five sides are painted with a proprietary mix. The back (the 6th side) is sanded to hang against a wall or show the wood. The white layers are built thick and stars made of teakwood.
Strontium Aluminate Glow Powder is 10x as bright as the glow we used to know. Under regular fluorescent lights, the flag charges enough to have a very pleasant aura and the centerline appears blood red to the human eye.
