MCM pleated skirt made with textured cotton often called barkcloth in a psychedelic design of curly geometrics in bold bright colors. Groovy! This kind of fabric was produced in Hawaii or Japan & was wildly popular from the 50's-70's. Handmade midi skirt is in very good vintage condition with 1 caveat - maybe the pattern was misinterpreted or the seamstress tried to get creative but the side closure is intended to close over a pocket - it doesn't work well - the pocket is too small & misshapen - don't put anything you don't want to lose in there! Fortunately there's a working pocket on the other side. Priced accordingly.
