Betrayal is a common theme in the Bible, if Jesus wasn’t betrayed then he would have not have died for our sins. God is a divine orchestrator, he leads us to our destiny. God has a reason behind all of his actions, God told Samson not to reveal his secret, yet since he told Delilah consequences ensued. My advice is to always listen to God, in any situation that you face look in your heart, use good judgement, and make a wise choice. Go with your own personal intuition about others, get to know them before revealing your weakness to anyone because they might use it against you. That is the case here, Samson made himself completely vulnerable by revealing the source of his mighty strength. Samson’s demise was terrible, the Philistines blinded him and he died by bringing down a Philistine temple killing him along with several of his captives.
