Beautifully hand painted vintage Trimont China wide bowl teacup and saucer in very good condition for its age. This piece is marked Made in Occupied Japan. Items marked Occupied Japan were made 1947 - 1952. The exterior of the cup is black with a gold line around the rim, center and base. The rim of the cup, saucer and base has a beautiful scalloped edge. The interior of the plate and cup are green with beautiful hand painted flowers in pinks, oranges and yellow. Leaves are green with shades of lighter green and white. Gold outline is used to enhance the flowers and leaves providing so much detail. No chips cracks or crazing and both pieces.
The vibrant colors makes this a stunning piece for any collection.
