Purchased in the early 1990s (91 or 92) at GUM in Moscow, if I recall correctly. Photographed with can for size reference. The quality of artistry in this particular set is 99th percentile. Very accurate, and very skilled painting portraying the likenesses of each figure’s facial features, along with universally recognized symbolism, leaving no doubt exactly which Russian leader is red represented. Very nice (post) Cold War era Russian artifact. Sold as pictured.
