4 dolls total, 3 of which open to reveal a smaller one
The last of them, the smallest is just under 2" in height and has a string loop, as though to be hung on a tree like an ornament.
Hand painted, great details!
There are no markings, stamps, stickers, or signatures.
The insides are clean and have some pen writing, but I can't make out what its for or what it says. It could be measurements from when it was made?
Great condition, only flaws are the second largest has a hole, but it's not damage, it's where there is a a knot in the wood that they used. Also in the seal where the wood overlaps to close there is a small chunk missing- again, this is another a natural flaw in the wood that was used. Therefore these are natural normal flaws, not created or formed from misuse or accidental mishandling. Also, the last doll to open up, it's very difficult to open and close this one for some reason.
