This 2004 RARE African American Just Kidz Cheerleader electronic cheering doll

This 2004 RARE African American Just Kidz 13” Cheerleader electronic cheering doll made for Kmart is still in the package and is still attached with plastic ties to the box. However, the box is in very bad condition and falling apart. The bottom portion of the box is completely detached. The doll cosmetically appears in perfect condition and I can see no flaws, stains, or imperfections. I can not completely see her back as it is still attached to the box but I don’t suspect any cosmetic issues, but cannot guarantee it. She is supposed to be able to perform five separate cheers, 1 when each hand is pressed, 1 when her belly is pressed, and 1 when each foot is pressed. Both feet, belly, and right hand work with no issues. However, when I press her left hand, I hear no cheer. Because of the way she is still attached to the box, I can’t gain access to battery compartment just to see if perhaps the battery age was the issue. Doll did receive Creative Toy Award 2004 Toy of Excellence Award.
