RARE Vintage Set of 3 Advertising Hotel/ Motel Clear Ashtrays

RARE Vintage Set of 3 Advertising Hotel/ Motel Clear Ashtrays. Thunderbird Motor Hotel was opened in 1959 and was once a showplace with a dinner theater that drew the likes of Howard Keel, Van Johnson, Fats Domino and Walter Cronkite. It changed hands several times in the 2000's before being destroyed in a massive fire in 2019. It is clear square with 4 cigarette holders and approximately 3 3/4 D. Ramada Inn Hotel Clear Ashtray has maroon lettering it is round with 3 cigarette holders and approximately 4 1/4 D at the top x 2 3/4 D at the bottom. Habana Hilton Hotel round clear ashtray with 4 cigarette holders and approximately 4 1/4 D. This Hotel was opened in 1958. In 1959 the hotel became Castro's headquarters. Castro set up his command post in room 2324 of the hotel. Press conferences and announcements were held there, as were meetings with visiting leaders from other countries. It was taken over by the state and renamed in 1960. Condition used with no chips or cracks.
