For your consideration is this set of wonderful Polynesian style salt and pepper shakers produced and sold in Hawaii most likely during the 1970s. These are constructed of Monkeypod wood and sold as travel souvenirs in many tourists shops around the islands. Carved onto the sides are Polynesian huts indicative of the architecture of the island. Each are labeled "Salt" and "Pepper" respectively in hand painted print writing. There is a plastic stopper in each of them and they are in good condition. Each stand 2.92 inches tall x 2.42 inches in diameter. There are minor abrasions on both, but this does not affect the aesthetic of the pieces. So get ready for your next summer Luau and snag these lovelies right up.
