The Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollar was minted of .900 Fine Silver from 1916 until 1947 and is considered one of the most celebrated coins of all time. In the famous design by A.A. Wienman, the magnificent figure of liberty welcomes the dawn of a new day as she advances towards the sun. Liberty is dressed in a garment representing the United States Flag. This is the only U.S. coin to depict the American Flag. Silver Walking Liberty Dollars were produced at the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints. This set comes in a wooden window box case (8 x 5 x 1.5 ) with a hinged lid. Certificate of authenticity included.
