A beautiful vintage Peruvian mirror done in the Cajamarquino style with a window paned structure. It features the traditional reverse painted glass technique where the details are painted on the back of the glass panes. The design includes floral and dove motifs surrounding the central mirror. The frame is constructed of wood covered in a plaster mixture and finished in gold to resemble Colonial era gilding. It retains the original Tumi importer label on the back which dates it to the late 20th century. This is a great example of South American folk art.
