Ornately designed pair of large antique picture frames made using the giltwood & gesso practice in order to give the frames their desired layered appearance.
Each frame measures 28” tall x 23.5” across. Both have a hanging wire pre installed, & both show slight signs of wear to wood layering In their bottom right corners. This is usually seen with the top layer sustaining damage or decay & chipping away. While evident on both frames, this covers a small portion of the frame itself (5-9%).
