This listing is for a lot of three large Metlox Poppytrail chop/serving plates. Perfect for MCM themed dinner parties or just any occasion calling for colorful vintage dish-ware. Per Replacements.com these plates was manufactured between 1953 and 56. Love the bold glaze on these beauties! The color is somewhere in between turquoise and really saturated aqua. Although, it also has been described in other sources as teal.
The plates measure 12 1/8" in diameter. They will make great serving pieces. All three are in good (not excellent) condition. There is some surface wear and hard water stains (which may come off with vinegar or some type of kitchen cleaner). As observed on most pottery of that era, there also are three stilt marks on the back of the plate, which are a result of the manufacturing process. No chips or cracks.
