Hello, you're looking at a vintage wooden sewing or jewelry box. I believe it features the Church of the Resurrection in Kostroma, Russia. The onion domes and other architectural elements seem to match.
It has a (possibly handpainted) design and what appears to be woodburned pyrography designs on the top and sides. There is a Cyrillic stamp on the bottom of the box. It is hinged and measures about 6.75 x 6.75 x 1.75 inches.
Condition-wise, there is some discoloration, staining, and missing sections of wood. The interior lid also has a crack on the left side. Please see photos for more detail on the condition.
