Beautiful vintage hand-embroidered 48 State quilt, dating to approximately the 1930s–1940s. This quilt features individually embroidered U.S. states with floral motifs, set in a classic blue and white diamond pattern with hand quilting throughout and a lovely scalloped edge.

• 48 embroidered U.S. states (pre-Alaska & Hawaii)
• Hand embroidered and hand quilted
• Scalloped edge finish
• Likely cotton fabric and batting

Condition:
• Overall very good vintage condition
• Some light thread wear along the top edge from age and use
• Mild yellowing to the back
• A few small age-appropriate spots
• No major rips, holes, or missing blocks. But as I mentioned it is pretty thread bare across the top of the quilt, especially the backing
This quilt displays beautifully and would make a wonderful collector's piece, bedspread, or wall hanging. A fantastic example of early 20th-century American needlework.
