Fostoria Chintz Salad Dressing Bottle 5.5 RARE
I have for sale a rare dressing bottle by Fostoria in the Chintz pattern. It is missing its original stopper, but I've found a cork that fits well. This piece had a nasty chip on the lip that was very sharp and would have cut anyone handling the bottle. I had the sharp edges smoothed out and repolished rather than re-shaping the whole top edge. It also had a tiny fleabite at the top edge which I've also had smoothed out; these services don't come cheap, as I'm sure serious collectors know. It has some water spots in the very bottom, but not through-out the bottle. It does show a few scratches on the exterior of the bottle, as pictured.
I'm selling this because I am saving for my wedding and first home with my fiance, otherwise I would never part with such a rarity.
