Brutalist Metal Art of Aggressive Tennis in Hand Made Metal Art circa 1970s

Vintage 1970’s Brutalist Metal Art Sculpture depiction of an over-the-top Tennis Match where one player goes over the net and breaks her racquet over the other player’s head. Abstract concept using metal bolts for the heads, and bending large screws and nails for arms, legs, and even fingers. Screen is used for the net and racquets, with the tennis racquet strings coming apart over the opponent’s head. The aggressor is depicted as a female, with a metal skirt made out of a soda can. Her hair is steel wool. The guy getting hit could be representative as a male; no hair, no clothes, he’s knocked down, supporting himself with both hands and feet on the ground while she’s leaping at him, her knee hitting the net’s upper bar. The materials are simple metal products, sculpted into a dynamic tennis drama, that could be symbolic of a wider war between the sexes. Net is 9 3/4” long and 3” high. The female, back foot to head is about 7”. The male’s hands’ spread is 6”. Very cleaver street art.
