St. John Collection by Marie Gray Vintage Black Beaded Knit Midi Dress - Size 8. Great pre-owned condition. It is missing the belt which was of the same fabric as the skirt. I think it would look fantastic with a gold metal (perhaps chain or serpentine) belt. All of the beaded belt loops are in place. No missing beads anywhere on the dress that I could see. Most likely from 1988-1994. There is no contents tag, they generally didn't use them at that time. Most likely a wool and rayon blend, St. John's signature Santana knit known for it's comfortable stretch, durability (obviously) and beautiful draping. Long ribbed sleeves, ribbed bodice, round neckline and functional front pockets. There is a small slit at the front hem, mid-point.
Approximate measurements: 16" pit to pit (very stretchy), 15" at waist area, 45" length from shoulder seam, laid flat.
Estimated original retail is approximately $850.
