This gorgeous 1979 hand crafted Avon porcelain box in the shape of an egg features beautifully painted butterflies and flowers. Made from smooth creamy porcelain, the bowl and lid are beautifully glazed. The inside is clean and plain. The base is stamped 39. Produced Exclusively for Avon Products. 1979 R. This was a part of a series of boxes with similar butterfly and flower motif (see my listing for Avon Porcelain fan dish with lid).
The colors on the painted elements are beautiful and vibrant. A gorgeous gift.
This beautiful dish measures 5 1/4 long x 3 1/4 wide and 3 1/2 tall. lt features 22K gold trim as noted on the bottom stamp. It is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. The high polish shine is still perfectly intact.
