Early Pewter Timekeeper Oil Lamp Clock Peltro 95 Italy 1800s
1800's pewter oil lamp clock timekeeper.
High candlestick base with thumbrest and oil reservoir.
Pewter and Glass oblong cylinder holds oil (whale oil was used).
Roman numerals on pewter strip along glass were used to keep time as the oil ran out. 2 pieces: hand blown oblong glass and pewter top piece unscrews to fill.
Illegible stamp on bottom
