Features The Orange Bird, an anthropomorphic orange canary created in 1969 by Disney artists and introduced in 1971 as a mascot for the Florida Citrus Commission. He was created in exchange for the Commission's sponsorship of the Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room attraction and the Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom. The Orange Bird appeared in national advertising campaigns for Florida oranges, often alongside Anita Bryant, and featured in educational shorts and promotional materials.
