This is a very rare Antique porcelain oyster plate featuring six shell-shaped wells arranged symmetrically around a small central reservoir. The plate has a soft, white, glossy glaze with delicate accents of blue and sandy beige, giving it a lightly speckled, watercolor-like effect reminiscent of seafoam or shoreline textures. Each well is gently curved to cradle individual oysters.
The rim is scalloped and trimmed with a fine gold gilt edge, adding an elegant, refined finish typical of 19th–early 20th century oyster plates. The overall design blends organic, flowing forms with subtle decorative touches, creating a classic and graceful presentation piece. 8 1/8", excellent condition.
