This is a large vintage Limoges Chanille Peint Main Trinket Box. The collectible Limoges has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. The Limoges is artfully hand-painted with intricate designs in great detail.
The box depicts a Chinese Junk ship. The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp in the shape of a fisherman. Inside hand painted a cat with a fish. The box snaps closed smoothly, and it remains in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
