First edition (later, not numbered printing) hardcover copy of Mink on Weekdays (Ermine on Sunday) by Felicia Lamport (Houghton Mifflin Company, 1950). Semi-autobiographical novel about growing up in a well-to-do Jewish family in the 1920s. A very rare book by the satirist and newspaper columnist. Jacket is now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - inclining chipping, creasing and small tears. Larger tear to top right corner of back cover with tape adhered to interior side. Boards are straight and largely clean but with corners bumped and very small stain to bottom edge of front board. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages are clean and unmarked though tanned and with bottom fore corner of text block bumped. See photos for condition.
