Adorable Vintage 1950's, 50's, 50s, 1950s Hand Embroidered Baby Dress

This is made in perfection and is in like-new condition out of cotton batiste. I nearly hand-dyed it but it was so pretty in white I decided to leave it as is. Just look at the tiny drawn work around the puffy little squares. Its so well done. In the 50's ( the age of all the other clothing I picked up in this lucky lot) most of the hand embroidery was done in the phillipines but there is no label on this one so it may have been hand done here coming out of the arts and crafts era this skillset existed for many American ladies. Im not sure how many men had the skillset though as lines were drawn so tightly back then were'nt they? Those back pleats are many and tiny and serve to keep the back of the dress poofy too so your babe looks as good going as she did coming. Very very gently hand wash in the sink using Dr Bronners or Woolite. Do not wring towel dry and line/rack hang and it will be good to go again and again for summer. Ive got more coming so keep an eye on the store lots of little lady and little man vintage on the way and a few unisex pieces too. Compare size against a dress your baby already has. Measurements are: shoulders 9" across front only ( not all the way around), sleeve opening 3 1/4" at bottom, bust 23" all the way around, length 15 1/2".
