Antique Bronze Greek Roman Pompeii Candlestick French Empire Style Candle HolderBeautiful bronze candlesticks!Dates to the 1800’s and is a very well-made pieces. The French Empire Style is copied from Roman Pompeii and is really nice. The pieces have 3 hanging ribbons on the top part and have a lion paw footed base with three figural Neoclassical Busts. The Greco / Roman bust are on three sides atop the 3 copied from lion paws. The middle section is made to look like a Roman column.The top is held on by a long screw that unscrews from the top of the holder and runs thru the column. Measures 7-1/4" tall and has a 4-1/4" by 4-1/4" base, from paw to paw.
