Antique EAPG.Lion, Gillinder and sons. Dying Lioness bread Platter, AKA Frosted lion. C. 1877 this beautiful and rare early American pressed glass bread platter is a stunning piece of manufacturing history. Produced by Gillinder and Sons incorporated. Philadelphia, Greensburg, PA. Operated 1863 to today. In very good condition, there is a tiny rough spot on one of the lying lion handles. Not really a chip, just a little rough spot. Minor scratches for an antique piece this age. Measures 12.75 inches by 9 inches. Non-smoking pet free home.
