Advance Reader’s Copy / Uncorrected Proof trade paperback edition of Uprooted by Naomi Novik (Del Rey, 2015). Folklore and fairy tale inspired fantasy novel by the author of the Temeraire novels. Very rare pre-publication edition with limited distribution, intended to garner reviews and for grassroots promotion. Moderate rubbing/scuffing to covers and wear around the edges, including bumped/creased corners. A few reading creases to slightly curved spine. Binding material is visible in gutter between text block and first page, where cover on spine is partially separated from the glue beneath. Binding remains fairly firm on the whole. Some faint staining to top edge of first few dozen pages near spine and to bottom and fore edge near bottom corner of the same several pages. Interior of front cover is similarly affected. Otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
