CIrca 1880s Seth Thomas Mantle Clock with Adamantine Case and Cathedral Gong Strike.
The clock features a durable Adamantine veneer case, which looks very much like rosewood, and a polished, high-gloss appearance.
Fluted columns with gold accents flank the glass covered dial.
Each side of the clock features a brass lion's head while the original metal feet add another touch of period style as they lift the case gracefully off the surface.
The dial features black Arabic numerals with the original spade-style hands.
The clock's face is covered with a brass bezel fitted with convex glass.
The bezel closes properly, and the original glass is without flaws.
The workings are marked with the Seth Thomas logo and “Made in U.S. America.”
The clock measures 18 x 7 inches and stands 11 inches tall.
It is in working condition. Comes with the key.
