The Rocky Horror Show is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Richard O'Brien. It is a parody tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1970s. The musical premiered in London in 1973 and has since been performed in many countries and translated into more than 30 languages.
A copy of the theatre script from the 1974 Los Angeles production, even a later Xerox copy from the 1980s, would still be a piece of memorabilia. While not as valuable as an original script from the production, it would still offer insights into the play's staging and dialogue. These scripts are collected by fans of the show.
