Antique Amberina Pitcher & Tumbler Inverted Thumbprint Pattern Victorian

The patterning is made from the inside to the outside (hence the Inverted Thumbprint Pattern) circa 1880-1900

You can also see some bubbles in the inside of the glass- this is just part of the glass blowing process and manufacturing flaws like the straw marks as seen on last photo.


The colors of this Amberina glass range from deep red, to tangerine, to amber and yellows. Amberina Glass was made by the Mt. Washington or the New England Glass Company, between the 1880's to the end of the Century. The set is is also referred to as the Venetian Diamond pattern as well as the Inverted Thumbprint.

Pitcher is approximately 6 1/4" X 5 1/4" and small tumbler glass is approximately 3 3/4" X 2 1/2".

The pitcher has couple tiny chips on the bottom as seen on last photo.
