This Madonna figurine is molded from an original Mezenbach sculpture and crafted in glazed porcelain. It stands 8" tall x about 4" wide x 5-3/4" long. It is marked with a pressed in "M. I. Hummel" facsimile signature (her personal stamp of approval) on the back of the tunic and the underside is incised with the serial number 10/1 and marked with TMK-2 Bee Trademark. Made in W. Germany. The Bee Trademark dates its production circa 1957-1959 since Mary's halo is flat and not open style.
The Flower Madonna figurine is in Very Good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, fissures, or repairs. There is some light crazing throughout, common with older pieces (please refer to images).
