Stunning Art Deco Pierre D'Avesn for Nancy Daum Textured Star Art Glass VaseThis is an absolutely Stunning Art Deco era French glass artist Pierre D'Avesn designed for Nancy Daum Studios in France,The vase has an intricate Textured bark surface with ripples and texture winding around the exterior and is crafted into a 12 point star. The Star Art Glass Vase starts at the base and flares up in straight lines to the same 12 point star.The underside, top rim and inside of the vase is clear and smooth. Besides Daum Studios, Glass artist and designer Pierre D'Avensn is also affiliated with the renown Lalique Glass Studios.The vase measures approximately 6" high by 2.5" at the base and flaring up to 5" wide at the top. It is in excellent vintage condition with no visible anomalies.This art glass piece typifies Art Deco to a T!The piece is simply lovely and would add a dash of Art Deco elegance to any environment.
