SHOWSTOPPER 1930s BROWN FELT TILT HAT WITH BROWN TIPPED WHITE OSTRICH FEATHERS

This is indeed a showstopper tilt hat from the 1930s...It consists of a small flat felt crown surrounded by an array of brown tipped white ostrich feathers. There is a. brown covered "O" ring on the back to hold the hat in a tilted position. There is s small piece of brown velvet at the center front, between the feathers.Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, or a combination of these.
