This is a real corset. I will give you a brief course - please read if you’ve never owned a real corset. Steel bones - 14 of them - provide serious shaping. Your waist should be over 40 inches or this won’t shape you. Honestly you’re probably also going to want to be a D-H cup to get a good swell. The measurements are taken with the corset completely laced closed. As you can see from the photo, there is a LOT of corset lacing left, and a substantial modesty panel that can be used to protect skin from lacing stress if you wear it cinched but not all the way laced (like many do). Corset lacing cinches in the middle. To wear, unlace, alternating wiggling a bit lose from the top, then the bottom, back and forth. That way, when you go to tighten, you have relatively even lacing to pull. Fasten the front steel busk before lacing. If you can have a friend help you tightlace, make sure they do it in steps and don’t try to yank the laces. They won’t break but you both may fall from being yanked. Adjust your, uh, shelf, as you tighten. Raise the girls. Grab a wall or door when it’s time for the last cinching to brace yourself. Never pop the corset from the front to get out.Unlace. It’s a long corset for plus sizes. Practice how you’ll use the restroom before you festival. Always, always, boots first, then corset.
