Both 1 & 2 are first editions.
Both 1 & 2 have the initial appendix (uncut).

Baten Kaitos 1 has noticeable stains on the top.
Baten Kaitos 2, although a used item of age, has little overall wear and tear, and while there is some damage, it comes with an obi, making it a rare condition nowadays.

Both are used items of age, so there is some wear and tear such as scratches, stains, and damage, but I believe they are in a condition that allows you to read them without any problems.
