say "rare" Eric Javits because I have been unable to find anything like it. Wide 4 7/8" stiff straw brim. The cap/crown is a soft knit with slit opening so can be worn with the top of your head covered or open. Perfect for those ponytail lovers. I'm calling it a ponytail hat, not sure what Eric called it. I believe it is probably from around the late 1980's or early 90's. No size tag but I measure 21 1/2" around the inside band. Very good condition. The brim has a couple light spots. Also ever so slightly misshaped. Light soiling to the front of the band. All these are pretty minor issues. It's beautifully constructed and each Eric Javits hat is handmade with quality materials. Smoke free home. I ship same or next business day.
