Vintage Guatemalan medallion pendant crafted in 900 silver with an intricate cut-out design. The central figure depicts a Mayan warrior or noble wearing a quetzal feather headdress, surrounded by smaller warrior figures arranged around the border.
The bold circular form, zig-zag etched border, and starburst-engraved bail give the piece a medallion-like presence.
It weighs 8.5 grams.
It measures approximately 2" long (with bail) and 1 1/2" wide. Stamped on the reverse GUATE 900, indicating Guatemalan origin and 90% silver purity.
