Chinese Famille Rose Teapot, Qing Dynasty, Hand-Painted Rose Decor

An antique 18–19th century Chinese Famille Rose porcelain teapot decorated with hand-painted floral motifs. The body is adorned with colorful blossoms and leaves, while the lid features matching small floral designs. The lid has a gilt-accented knop finial and gilt highlights along the edges, adding elegance and refinement. Concentric decorative rings on the lid create a layered, visually rich appearance.

The teapot has a short, rounded spout and a curved, carved handle that combines both utility and decorative charm.

Please note: There is a visible crack at the junction where the spout meets the body, likely developed naturally over time. The lid has an early metal pin (“staple repair”), a traditional antique repair method used to secure the lid and prevent separation. These age-related conditions do not affect the display value and are typical of well-used Qing dynasty porcelain.
