Noritake China was first created in 1876 for the Western market. With attention to quality and beautiful hand-painted designs, they quickly grew in popularity. The time period of production is know through the marks on the pieces. The term NIPPON, under the Noritake is generally accepted as made before 1921, during the initial period of the company's production.
This delicate, beautiful set is a treasure to add to your collection. The condition is what we hope for in an antique piece. There are no chips or marks. Corks have long ago disappeared.
There are many beautiful vintage examples of Noritake pieces, but antique pieces are rare.
