Per the website MotherSweden: Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Chicko from 1996. It consists of 12 bowls and vases with rounded forms, rough textures, and interspersed color fragments. The series was manufactured until 2006.
